Formerly a national body building champion and award-winning personal trainer, Shari Shryock has been designing personalized training programs for clients at all levels of fitness since 1985.

Shari has designed fitness programs for Karen Andes, author of "Women's Strength" and Leora Meyers, author of "Fitness and Menopause".

She has served as an advisor to professional bodybuilders and world-class athletes in developing personalized fitness and nutrition programs prior to their competition.

Nationally, she is accredited by the American Council on Exercise and is a member of IDEA. In 1993, the California Personal Trainers Association voted her "one of San Francisco's most successful personal trainers". Shari was voted "Best Personal Trainer" in the July, 2002 issue of the San Francisco Bay Guardian.

I don't know what you're looking for in a personal trainer, but Shari is about as close to perfect as anybody would ask for.  Her rates are reasonable at first glance, but once you get under her wing, you'll see that Shari has way more to offer than just technique and nutritional advice.

If you need somebody to BS you through your workout, you got the wrong person.  

She won't lie about what your body can and can't do, what it can look like and all that.  If you have a goal, and you can speak and understand English, by hour's end you will have a clear understanding of whether or not it's realistic for you. Meaning, if you're just nodding your head at her advice and not taking it, she will KNOW. However, if you're as dedicated to your betterment as one who's seeking a personal trainer should be, Shari will reward you with results.

She's trained and perfected bodybuilders, athletes, strippers, dancers, models, and the average joe who just wants to push their body to higher levels.  She also has great understanding of the body and its limitations, so if you're injured, rehab is in her repertoire, too!

As Shari warms to you, you might even find her to be a great source of information on just about any subject, from where to get the best massage, haircut, tickets to the opera, restaurant, etc. to some light life-coaching.
